Feeling uninspired by the gossip-filled stories of many teen magazines, the summer before my freshman year of high school, I founded Pulse Spikes. What started as a personal music blog slowly transformed (with the help of amazing high school and college students as well as industry professionals) into a publication made by and for youth to share the incredible stories of young artists, entrepreneurs, and activists.

I’m currently a junior at Yale College studying Computing and the Arts. Intersections that merge the arts and humanities with STEM excite me. I’m fascinated by the multidimensionality of young people, from creatives who are passionate about information accessibility to technologists who are fighting climate change, and I can’t wait to share more stories of young people working at various intersections to positively change their local and larger communities.
